To Think Christianly: A History of the Christian Study Centre Movement by Charlie Cotherman – Tuesday, 19 January at 1400 GMT/UTC

What are Christian study centres? Where did they come from, and what do these local Christian communities dedicated to hospitality and spiritual, intellectual, and relational flourishing have to do with the formation of students’ ability to ‘think Christianly’ about all of life?

On Tuesday, 19 January 2021 at 1400 GMT/UTC (please note the date as it is different from the usual programming), Dr. Charlie Cotherman (PhD, University of Virginia), program director of the Project on Rural Ministry at Grove City College in Pennsylvania (USA), will address these questions and more in his presentation, ‘To Think Christianly: A History of L’Abri, Regent College, and the Christian Study Center Movement’. This webinar will be hosted by Dr. Drew Trotter, Executive Director of The Consortium of Christian Study Centers, one of the Society’s founding partners.

Join us as we investigate a bit of this movement’s history, and its implications for thinking and ministering on today’s pluralistic campuses.
