On Wednesday, 1 December 2021 at 1800 UTC, our partner, the Christian Academic Network (C-A-N), will host a discussion with Prof David Nash, a Professor in Mechanics and Materials, who will discuss an initiative in Scotland called Grasping the Nettle.
As a relatively recent organisation that formed in 2015, ‘Grasping the Nettle’ has brought together academics and church leaders to provide a form for the widest possible dialogue with regard to questions relating to science and faith. This has provided a forum bringing people together of all walks of life including the opportunity for academics to interface with church leaders where it otherwise may not have been possible.
