Public Theology and Global Governance– Friday, 25 October 2019 at 1400 GMT/UTC

Who makes law for the world? Who sets the rules for global trade? On 25 October 2019 at 1400 GMT, Dr. Terry Halliday, Research Professor, American Bar Foundation, Honorary Professor, Australian National University and Adjunct Professor of Sociology, Northwestern University, will discuss how to engage global lawmaking and governance in a dialogical way from sociological and theological perspectives. He addresses ‘Big Questions‘ (feel free to read more about his approach prior to the webinar) for social scientists, policy makers and the legal profession, closely examining the intersections of theology, lawmaking, and governance.
