Engaging Social Justice Issues – 17 September 2019 at 1300 GMT/UTC

As missional Christian academics, we often have the opportunity to engage with local social justice issues. In doing so, we cannot only incorporate these matters into our teaching and research but also raise awareness because of the role the university has in most cultures, playing our part in building a flourishing society.

On 17 September 2019 at 1300 GMT, this 3rd-party webinar, hosted by Christine MacMillian (WEA’s Senior Advisor for Social Justice), will focus on engaging social justice issues from a biblical worldview, offer clear principles for working with local partners, and suggest practical ways to identify and implement strategies that work toward attaining justice.

In preparation, view the following 45 minute video: https://youtu.be/XdqIkrKOXd8. The conversation will also continue after the webinar with other leaders here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/DsuEYRW9cvsDhNiay9h83N.

A recording of this webinar is coming soon! Check back for further details.
