Engaging Public Issues for Cultural Impact – Thursday, 6 June 2019 at 1100 GMT/UTC

This webinar on Thursday, 6 June 2019 at 1100 GMT will be a guided panel discussion with leaders on how to prepare for and engage public issues to influence your local culture. The goals for this workshop are to present case studies from three different regions of the world; learn from other national leaders about how they have engaged on public issues; and highlight key insights to help leaders develop more effective strategies for engaging public issues.

Some of the presenters include: Glyn Carpenter from New Zealand setting the context for this webinar; Francis Mkandawire sharing a story from Malawi on changing abortion laws; Vlady Raichinov sharing a story from Bulgaria on Freedom of Religion; Galen Carey sharing a story from the USA on Immigration and Refugees; and Blessing Makwara sharing three stories from Zimbabwe.
