In academia, career development is pertinent to each individual academic, whether it is a journey of going through one contract ending to pursuing another or applying to be promoted to a higher position in a permanent post, and eventually land with a full professor position. What is the right approach and attitude towards career progression and promotion as a Christian academic?
On Wednesday, 30 March 2022 at 1800 UTC, our partner the Christian Academic Network, UK (C-A-N) will host a conversation where you can share your story in an open and honest environment with other Christian academics. Hear from well seasoned and retired academics talk of their experiences and lessons learned. Hear from the early stage and mid career academics about what their aspirations are or what caution they may be taking. This will be a time to discuss and seek a Godly perspective on how we are to progress our careers.
The event will officially last 45 minutes, but for those who wish to remain for informal discussion, there will be some opportunity afterwards to do so.
